A warm and cooling salve for pain made from the farm. Made for my sore milking hands! Arnica as an anti-inflammatory and has long been used for muscle and joint pain. Capsaicin, the active ingredient in cayenne pepper, is an effective natural pain reliever. It works by blocking the chemical signals that transmit pain messages to the brain. Studies have found that capsaicin can be used topically to relieve pain associated with many conditions. Peppermint oil in topical application also relives muscle pain and headaches, giving a cooling feeling.
